What S3 Drivers Are you using?

Posts on the Epia Forum mentioned you need to update the drivers.
Perhaps theres a newer version for the S3 lying around viaarena.com?

Sweet.. Let me go upgrade right now!!!

I think I'll hold off for a while cuz if my carputer don't boot it would be hell to troubleshoot!! I would have to have my truck on AND find a floppy to use..

    Dang ITPS....

I've just tried flashing with the ISO file from earlier in the thread and AWFLASH says that the BIOS file doesn't match my hardware number?!?!?!

It is definately a EPIA-V8000, it says so on the board, and that V8K_480.bin file is definately the correct file so whats going on...?

    I'm stuck now :-(

    From Epia's website...

"*[Note] This BIOS needs working with below new VGA driver* Update new VGA BIOS"

What the heck kind of description is that?? "This BIOS needs working"???

This all crashing is just caused by fact new BIOS is in default set to output in "LCD" mode and only few CRTs handle it correctly. What you have to do is connect a flat panel and change that setting to "CRT". Everything is fine after reboot and 1.16 is most stable BIOS I have ever had on my EpiaM.
