    Question Xenarc internal sizes?

Has anyone taken their xenarc apart to fit in-dash?

I'm thinking about changing my (stripped down) lilliput for a 700TSV and I'm wondering if it will fit in the same space. Can anyone supply dimensions?

The Lilliput internal dimensions are 165mm x 105mm

    TIA

When i measured last, here's what i came up with, but i could be wrong, because i only removed the backside of the case, i didn't remove the lcd or the boards. At any rate i came up with 108mm X 171mm for the lcd and 120mm X 118mm for the other board (mainboard, touchscreen controller, or whatever it is). I also have a bunch of pics of the internals somewhere if they're of any help, again though its just with the back panel removed.

No the second pcb is only taller than the lcd, the lcd is wider.

Here's the pics. Not sure how long they'll work, i don't know what comcast's bandwidth limit is. They're pretty much just different angles, as i said the components weren't removed from the case. Hopefully someone will benefit from them.

    Great pics, thanks.

Didn't realise the buttons were on the same circuit board (they are separate on the lilli)

Will do some measuring inside my car tomorrow...

Yeah, thats one of the drawbacks of the xenarc for some of us. If it weren't for that i could fit it in my dash with little modification to the dash. Basically with xenarcs, between the lcd itself and what i guess is the touchscreen board, the case is only adding like 1/8" in any direction. The case is pretty form fitted to the components. Glad you liked the pics. I took them because i've heard several people ask for them and i could of used them myself. I just hadn't gotten around to posting them. Hopefully they'll be beneficial to others as well.
