PC wizards need ur help...laptop LCD as stand alone

ok, now I know LCD panels need a controller and on laptops thats normally built into the main board but I took apart this toshiba tecra 500CDT and on the panel where the gold paper thin connector comes out of the side PCB it pluges into a much larger PCB that uses a smaller connector with 12 wires ( plus the chassis ground ) that connects to the main board. Im hoping thats a controller so I can use this screen and wire on a VGA ( or DVI if that is what it is ) connecton. heres some pictures.

Also the connecter with the 12 wires is a 20pin connecter ( with only 12 spots being used ) and ive seen it might be a system call LVDS but i dunno.

ok so it Is LVDS from what I can tell, Plus Ive seen there are mini itx mobos that can connect lvds but all the info is scketchy at best.

Nope sorry m8, those chips are support for the line drivers (horizontal and vertical before feeding them to the laptop), you're still gonna need a controller!!
