Mo at lilliputUK would like to hear from anybody who's experienced problems with their Lilliput Touchscreen failing or having callibration issues.

He claims they haven't had one report of faulty TS's so now I've openned the flood gates... ;-)
So anybody who has experienced problems with their Touchscreen calibration or TS failing totally get in touch with Mo; [email protected].
Take note though that this is usually a hardware problem so it may hamper progress if he gets loads of emails about software, or other unrelated USB interferance problems.
If this is a design fault we are all entittled to replacement parts/screens under warranty so the more information he gets the better. Don't let me down now folks...

Is this for people who have never taken their screen apart (like me) and also, does it matter where the screen was purchased?? Does it have to be an authorized reseller?
I bought mine from mp3.com. I had a slight problem with it's calibration, but I simply corrected for where it calibrated and it seems to work OK. You should have gave him the link to here and showed him the

This is for anybody who has experienced the Lilliput Touchscreen fault.
Doesn't matter whether you've had the screen apart or not. All he's interested in is finding the source of the problem.
I told him that Lilliput have been getting very bad press because of this. I've given him links to mp3car and also have clipped and pasted excerpts from about 15 posts and a couple of screen shots of 25pt calibration screen showing where the bad areas are.
I've also told him about Armen being the TS expert and that he's started selling relpacement TS's due to the high demand.
Anyway, lets see if anything comes of this.
I have bought a Lilliput and have problems.
I have had calibration problems , Could not use the right side about 1 inch.
After 2 days nothing works.
Reinstall drivers,tried another computer,donīt work.
Talk to the seller , Have send the screen back for a week ago,
waiting a new screen.
I have not take the screen apart.

Mine just started having this problem 2 weeks ago (right side really bad, left side a little less). I have never mounted the screen - have only used it for about 4-5 hours of normal usage while preparing the pc for the car.
I have just sent an email to them.
Hope this will get us warranty replacements for these bad touch screens.

I think all the bad press has moved people more towards the Xenarc. I hope that lilliput makes good on the product in order to keep some of the marketshare..
Time will tell. I will be buying some more touchscreen monitors and unless I get impressed real quick, I'm going with Xenarc.
They are going to be replacing a lot of screens.
I'm getting one for Christmas, so we'll see how long it takes before I develop problems.
