    lcd or vga??

    i was wondering what is the difference between vga monitor and lcd monitor...because i been around the forums and all i see is everyone talking about vga monitors....so my question is can i plug a comp into a lcd monitor??

    I think you are mildly confused.

    LCD is a TYPE of monitor.
    VGA is a video standard.

    In a car, for optimum clarity you want an LCD monitor with a VGA connection.

    Haven't you ever used your video output from your graphics card, on a TV? The image will be twice as bad on a 7" LCD monitor.
