Most other in-dash monitors don't have a VGA (15-pin DSUB) input. There is one by LinITX, I believe. Someone on these forums is running one and is rather fond of it.Originally Posted by tHeSmUrF

Tint your windows.
Only drive at night.
Recess your screen DEEP into your dash.
Get the Xenarc.
From what I've read, the problems with Liliput appear to be ones of build quality. The people who get them installed have them crap out soon thereafter, resulting in a pain in the *** warranty return. From what I understand, the image quality and functionality is very good when the units work. Personally, I'd say the lack of risk is worth the expense. Soem others might not think so.Don't know about in the states, but here in Australia the Xenarc is a lot harder to find and a fair bit more expensive, so I want to make sure the extra expense is really worth it.
I am also considering one of the 8" screens due to the ability for 800x600 resolution, or is that a waste of time? (considering most skins seem to be 800x480).
They have been on the proverbial horizon for a while now. We'll see them one day, and hopefully soon.I would prefer a motorised VGA touch screen, but appears that there aren't any on the market yet? Is that correct?
Just not today.
