    Question the dimension of the lilliput monitor

    Hi to everyone.. i'm e new member of this forum (i'm sorry for my so elementar and wrong english i hope you understand) and i want build a car pcr for my grand cherockee... i have allready think where put the pc and i have see tath is possible while SLD has do in his Toyota Hi- Lux Surf.. that have put the pc in a double bottom in the back of the car... but my problem is where put my monitor... because my central-front console is a bit full...
    i forgot the pics of that but tomorrow i post to you... i don't like put the monitr external of this console so i ask to you if you know how many model of monitor tft touch screen more little of 7" because i have see only two tipes one 1.8" and one 3" i'd like a model of 6" because i have this measures heigt max 4 inc. width 7.5 inc. This is the hole of the radio, under i have two split of the clima and under these i have the console of automatic clima and under this i have another monitor of the computer on board of the car so if i want to put an 7" lilliput monitr i must delete the two split but is not so good....
    Do you have any ideas for put a monitor in the console...???? another question what is the measures of the real monitr without the control panne under the screen...??? because if is possible i put these bottons in an other place is it possible??? i wait your advices... I to thank everyone for the help bye

    7"w x 4"h is double-DIN size.
    You have a couple options:
    You can remove or reloacte the headunit to somewhere else and then use epoxy & bondo to permanently mount the monitor into the dash that way. The only question would be where to relocate the head unit, assuming you're going to keep using it.
    The other option is to use a fold-out screen in the upper DIN slot and a 1-DIN headunit (again, if you're keeping that) in the lower DIN slot.

    Thank's DarquePervert i take idea form this article and now i have progetting the moviment of the screen so it's more scure from the robbers because i have put a little dor that close all... thank you
