i recently bought some boxes off one of my professors and in one i found 8 of these screens. unfortunately only the screens so i am in need of a controller and possibly an invertor to run it. i found a general datasheet for this family of LCD screens under model LM8V311. Can anyone help?

If you need a more specific datasheet for this model, here you go, direct from Sharp:

They're passive-matrix LCD's with a resolution of 640x480, so I probably wouldn't use it for anything requiring good quality video, but you could probably use it as a general display.
EarthLCD might have a controller that would do the job.. but don't expect the LCD panels to have a stellar display.
