    9" Widescreen 16:9 Touchscreen Kit?

Well, I am going to install a 10.4" screen in my dash...but I Found a 9" widescreen for a little more....and if I used it, I could salvage some space to relocate my hvac controls below the screen......but I'd need it to be touchscreen, anyone know where I Can get one?

I'm guessing a 8" Xenarc with touchscreen is out of the question?

Why would I want to spend that much money...when I can get a bigger screen that is brand new for half the price?

I wont go any smaller then 9"....8" is too small....and I can get a brand new 10.4...hell for the price of a Xenarc 8" touchscreen, I can get a 13" non touchscreen.

Well thats the problem you could get a 9" touchscreen but it be a CRT monitor and I don't think you have the space for it in your dash.

You will have to see if it's worth the money for a touchscreen as thoese sizes arn't very common.

a Tablet PC is the only other thing i could think of thats 10" and touchscreen

I had a quick look and found not touchscreen kits for 9 or 10 or evben 10.4" screens

    sorry man

yeah, but you are missing the point of the xenarc and lilli's... these things have 480x800 res... which in ebay terms is 480x2400... the cheapo discount bargain basement lcd's are all about 1/2 the resolution... I will put my Xenarc up against any $3000 plasma TV... I think those cheapos are advertised as 1440x234?? so that is a technical 234x480 screen... which is about 1/3 the actual resolution... then you get into VGA inputs and multiple composite inputs... touchscreens that actually fit... my Xenarc's vid2 input will override as an option for a backup cam whenever a signal is detected... then we get into the backlight brightness... at 400 nits the Xenarc is really adequate for about 90% of applications out there... for direct sunlight viewing I think the spec is around 1200 nits... sell your car and you can afford the 1200 nit screen.. and you will need sunscreen at night...

I'm not say, don't cut corners, but I think less ram and a better screen... or no high dollar wifi card and a better screen would be better choices... don't sell the screens short, I have had both the cheapo and the high dollar... I will let you have my Xenarc for free, but of course you will have to pry it from my cold dead hands...

ya get what ya pay for... the Liquid Video screens from Circuit City are pretty worth about the price of the box... I appreciate my Xenarc and I have chunked my cheapo...

lol....I'm not talking about some ebay crap. And NIN....10.4...that was easy to find a TSK for.

I'm talking about REAL High quality AUTOMOTIVE screens. Flip Downs, In Dash, Headrest. I am not talking about ebay crap...actualy on ebay I haven't found crap except a peice of **** lilli. the Xenarc 10.4 is overpriced. When you can get a 17" LCD Touchscreen for 300 bucks on new egg.

and 800x480...I thought it was 800x600? 800x480...EEEEKKK!!!! I'm just gonna use a Computer screen instead lmao. Thanks alot.

err damnit, I'm stupid. I get what you mean about 800x480...lol 16:9 Widescreen. I was stupid when I said that. And I dont need to sell my car for anything. I dont have a problem spending the whopping 580 bucks for a xenarc....But I would rather get the same thing for less.

my Xenarc 7" TSV (top 7" model) was just over $400 delivered... so shopping around could save you a few bucks...

oh, and another sales point to the 7" screen is that it is approx the same dimension as a double din stereo... easily accomodated by most dashes...
