That is so nice, you know we need to get mechanical engineering up to the point where anyone whose creative can come up with quick solutions(and implement it easily). Everybody has been begging for this, but no one could implement it, we had to wait for zenarc. btw I think the complete unit is from zenarc.

This may change my plans. Maybe I won't bother with the difficulty of coming up with a sliding and rotating mechanism for fitting a 10.4" lcd in-dash after all - even if the LCD is daylight readable (but I have to track down a suitable backlight invertor and VGA controller for it

).

$500 is a *good* price! And it comes with a TV tuner.

It it 400cd/m2 without the touchscreen? I.e. The touch screen will reduce it's readability just the same amount as the equivalent non-motorised Xenarc screen?

UK price for these will be around £335 according to an all-in-one carputer seller chap I know

Seems reasonable. Have to keep an eye on LinITX

wow, I'll have to get one of these when they ship. Too bad I already took the time to fab up mounting hardware for the pull out version, looks like this version will be a true DIN and therefor work with any aftermarket mounting kits.

If it is from Xenarc, why doesn't Xenarc itself have it? Seems to be this is a 3rd party setup

I've seen it for $100 somewhere by following a link in this forum, if I find it again I'll post it
