New to the whole touchscreen thing, a few ?'s

Well my xenarc came in a couple days ago and I see what everyone was saying about the native resolution. Anyways, When in 800x600 I know you cant see the bottom like 1/3 of the screen and im assuming thats normal because of the res and the aspect ratio of the screen, but the touchscreen is weird. I did the 4pt test in 1024x768 and it was working fine and dandy, when I went to 800x600 once you touch the lower part of the screen the actual touch of the screen differes from the point where it virtually touches. Theres probably an easy fix and an explanation for it but I just don't know.

Thanks for helping. Soon youll see my car, waitin for the rest of the stuff to come in (got about 1500 worth of audio stuff to install in my car and and the car pc is one of em)

you have to run the calibration everytime you change resolutions. and you should be able to see the entire screen at 800x600 if you use the autoadjust function in the monitor's menu.

u mean 'auto detect' ? You still cant see all of it on on the touchscreen.

I tried adjusting the calibration with 8x6 and it still does it. It still detects it about an inch lower where I actually touch. Its fine in 1024x768 but no 8x6.

Hold on a second, my Lilliput works just fine with 800x600, with no need to hit auto-adjust every time I change rez. Is this a difference between the two monitors? Or is this anomalous behaviour for hte Xenarc?

800x600 works just fine - you need to kick up the refresh rate or raise the timings using PowerStrip or the NVidia control panel.
