    help me make a franken-lilliput

    Hey,
My saga begins with a custom bezel (thanks rich from e46fanatics) and an auto-on mod (thank coyote) which seems to have worked successfully. But, when I tried to reconnect the circuit board to the lcd, all I get is the infamous white screen. I jiggled and shaked the ribbon on the lcd, to the point where I cracked the clip that holds in the ribbon. So, being all frustrated and what not, I bought a new Lilliput. Lets call the first lilliput A, the new B.
I opened up the Lillliput B, and the circuit board looked different, new revision I guess. I really didnt want to do the auto-on mod again on the lilliput B circuit board, so I'm wondering....
Can I use the LCD from Lilliput B, and the modded back-half of Lilliput A?

Also, based on the pictures, can someone tell me which board requires the "pins on the same side" ribbon, and which requires the "pins on the opposite side " ribbon (just received both from digitalww)?

I have attached pics from both Lilliput A, and B.

I know I came to the right place, I just hope I haven't destroyed 2 Lilliputs in one week.....
    thanks,
    avidan
