    Mounting LCD Screen Sideways

I am just beginning to purchase everything for my carputer system and was thinking about using a 12.1 inch lcd screen with the touch screen overlay. But I was wondering if it was posible to mount the screen side ways so the lcd was more long then wide. this would help me considerably trying to fiberglass it into my dash. Is this posible?

Yes, with an Nvidia card, you can go into the settings and rotate the screen. There might be some other cards where that would also work.

there are also standalone applications that do this, if your graphics card does not support it. Plus you also have to have the touchscreen rotate as well.
