Need Help with S-Video to Rca

I have a old-school 3dfx Voodoo 3 video card I'm trying out and I want to use the s-video to hook up a tv and see how it looks. I have a S-video to Rca convertor hooked up but when I plug it in the monitor, the tv returns with no signal. How do I go about getting signal. And no, I dont have a s-video input on the tv.

if the tv isnt getting a signal, the card probably isnt sending anything out, you gotta turn that stuff on with your card settings. Look at the advanced properties of your video card and see if you set up the tv-out settings in there

The card is set up for both a generic monitor and a television. I set the display at 640x480 at 60htz. The s-video has worked before when hooked directly into another s video input on another tv.
