    Armen Help!!

howdy guys. I have (suprise suprise!!) a dead lilliput on my hands and its already been bondo'd into my dash. I would like to continue using it but the controller board is toast. If anyone can point me in the right direction as far as finding a new board or a controller solution please post here or pm me. thanks a lot guys. oh i and i am far too poor to buy the xenarc so don't bother with recommending that road for me. at least for now anyway.

    Thanks in advance!

dunno if i will be much use - but i fried the fuse on my lilli - and then snapped the ribbon cable, and then snapped the connector on the back of the LCD - so gave in and bought a new screen! the board still powers if you short the fuse out - dunno if it the video works, but i guess it should do (as the touch screen still works), you interested in it? make me an offer.....

If he's not interested I'd make you an offer on the touchscreen, as mine has never worked!

Do you mean the actual TS as in the overlay, or the TS meaning the LCD - if you mean the actualy overlay, then Im not selling that as I want to keep it for spares given the poor quality of them, however your welcome to make me an offer for the lcd - take a look at www.digitalww.com for the ts....only $74ish shipped to uk, and much better quality than the originals.....make sure you state it is for a lilli tho

You may want to check with Armen at http://www.digitalww.com/ . He usually has spare and replacement parts for sale. Do you know what is wrong with the board?

On a side note, that avatar you have is creepy! Scarier then silence of the lambs!

the board has two broken connectors and the ceramic surface mount fuse is broken off. oh and the wiring from the egg caught on fire and melted itself. so there was some smoke involved too.

Ouch! Sounds painful and unfortunately expensive.
