Try different refresh rates like 70, 72 or 75Hz.
Go easy on Teh N00bi did a search but came up blank on the matter...
i have a 700TSV and for the last few days I would power it up and it would run fine for five minutes tops and then any image on the screen would stop moving and the entire image would fade to bright white. immediately i would power the computer down and the image would flicker at the windows XP shut down screen but still be very hazy and bright white. i am running onboard Epia video so even with PowerStrip i cannot run the native resolution of the screen. before i installed PowerStrip the image would shift to the right and leave a blank black bar from time to time. i would change the resolution and all would be well. I installed PowerStrip about two weeks ago and the image was fine at 800x600. now all i have is a white haze a few minutes into operationany thoughts or input are welcome as to what i may have fried

i've already got powerstrip enabled. would you suggest disabling it or uninstalling it?Originally Posted by strohmrs
Probably a good idea untill you get the main problem fixed. It sounds like a "out of range" problem though. Too high of a resolution or refresh rate.Originally Posted by Ken's SA22c
Disable PowerStrip for the time being or at least set it for standard default resolutions and timings until you narrow it down.

I had something similar happen to me on the Starvision monitor I own. It turned out that the plastic ribbon cable between the controller and the panel was damaged and some of the traces were broken. This was also was when I discovered that my new starvision monitor was not so new after all.
Anyhow, I figured this out by opening the monitor up and moving the cable around a bit while the monitor is on. If the cable is damaged you may be able to buy a new one. In my case Digitalww had them in stock for $6. Remember that opening up the case may void your warrenty.
the case is already mutilated, fiberglassed and bondoed into the dash so warranty is long goneOriginally Posted by momanz
the refresh rate with powerstrip uninstalled was set at 60hz. i set it to 75hz and drove around with it for a few hours and all was well...![]()
