    Input on 8" Lilliput

I have been looking to get a VGA Touchscreen to connect to one of my computers I use as a media center. the point is just to work as a mp3 jukebox and allow people to just make simple touch to the screen to load a playlist or specific song.

I found this Lilliput 8" on ebay and wanted to know what you guys think about it. I tried to searc hereh but got installs of the 7" lilliput.

If you care more about my project I plan on using eiher GBPVR or MediaPortal as the front end still playing with both to see which better fits my needs.

It will also be hooked up to my TV so i can watch what is recorded as well as use it as a computer. I plan on using the ATI AIW remote to control it and would like the touchscreen to be placed in my living room to work as the main input.

    Thanks for your input.

I know that there are a few threads about the 7"ers on here

in general, they will be the same quality as the 7"ers....

I almost had myself talked into teh lilliput this time around....glad I went with the Xenarc though

You're going to see a lot of threads about Lilliputs. Most of us don't have the cash to drop on a Xenarc so we go Lilliput. I would say make sure you buy from a known, local (US) source. That way you'll know you can get some product support if needed.

    I have an 8" Lilliput and a 7" Xenarc.

I bought the Xenarc first, but would buy the 8" again if it fit the appliction.
