WOW....
please post more pics of that car !!!!
I'm so excited about how this hardware has fit together, I decided to share it with you. Here's where I have mounted the Xenarc in my project car.
It is "under" the old front speaker cover. We'll get the speaker cover to slide to the right via some clever track (all in good time). The buttons on the old radio operate play, pause, stop, etc.
Obviously, I am a firm believer in steel.
Now, to get some paint on that car so I can drive it!

whoa, that looks great.. make sure you show pics once painted!!!
Now, we are getting somewhere... We have paint on the console and have the Matrix Orbital LCD in the "AM radio". All the radio push buttons work (Play, pause, etc). When you turn on the left radio knob, the system boots and the speaker grill slides to the right to reveal the Xenarc touch screen. I still have a lot of work to do, but wanted to give you some idea of how far we've come.

What are you hooking the Xenarc screen to. I put one in and connected it to a computer, but when I connected it all together I had problems.
I dont know if my power inverter for my computer is large enough.
Is that a car or a hovercraft from the future????
You can run a Xenarc off of 12 volts. I use a relay that is triggered from my Opus power supply. This way, I don't draw off the Opus.Originally Posted by elixer44

It doesn't hover nearly as much as it used to now that it has a complete new suspension, rack & pinion, etc. It is of the future, though...Originally Posted by lanmanager
