TView Display Problem

Long time reader, First time poster.

So, I finally got my PC setup and It ran fine for about 6 hours.

Well, I go out to my car the other day, turn it on and the screen just has a black bar across the middle, the rest of the screen is blue. it was probably 100 pixels high and covered the entire screen. they the bottom of the screen started to fill with white and after a few seconds the entire screen was white.

Now, I've tested the screen with the mini-cam I got for rearview and it works fine. The PC works fine on a normal monitor. I have NO CLUE what could haev happened. All the VGA connections seem good and based on the fact the video from the camera works, It seems to be a cable problem.

Any one have any ideas? It's getting power from a power point under the ash tray. Should be plenty of power (130amp alternator). Any ideas?

i know that liliput needs REGULATED power..try to power it from your pc and see what happens?!

I'll give that a try, The specs say it will work stright off of normal power.

was the white like moving down the screen and you could see some kind of figure in the bg?

what fixes that for me is to kill the power for a min them reconnect it

I'll give that a try, It may be that turning it off for a minute didnt help because it's on constant power.

EDIT: That fixed it right up. I'll move it to a switched power line to keep that problem from re-occuring.
