DIY cable maker - 9 Pin Mini-Din cable

I need to create a long 9 Pin Mini-Din cable (about 50 ft). This will allow me to place my lilliput 7" touch screen where I want it. I'm installing it in the kitchen will be used for home media center control, I want the pc in the entertainment cabinet (50 ft away). Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to create my own 9 Pin Mini-Din cable???

    Thanks

Buy the ends and a length of cable and solder them together?? Try RS Components if you're in Europe. You'll probably need a well shielded one for that length though.

Uhm, unless you buy CAT5-S, it's not shielded. CAT cable is not shielded by default... Not sure where you got that idea.

BTW, by CAT5-S, it's another way to say STP - shielded twisted pair.
