Thread: Would a 800 x 480 Bios update need driver modification too?

From what i understand you need a bios and driver update combo.

I mean Im getting fed up with Via ignoring this issue (and im sure others are too) and even paying a company to make a 3rd party update sounds rational at this point.

Best to follow the Quest for 800x480 thread - Xenarc themselves are now sending a screen to VIA it seems for them to develop the driver/bios on!

I would think a month or so, at least if they do a proper job and test it properly but you never know might be beta drivers in a few weeks!
