I have done muching and found posts suggesting this and mods to do this, but I have found no hard evidence that convinces me...
Do the new Lilliput touch screen monitors have an auto-power-on feature?? If not, I guess I will spend a few extra bucks on a Xenarc. It seems like they are brighter anyways.

No. That's why there are mods that show you how to add this feature.

OK, I realize that the mods show how to add this feature, but it appears that these are for the older model Lilluput. There are a few stating that they have gotten some new ones and they have an auto-on feature. However, I have not been convinced that this is true. I would like some feedback from someone that recently purchased a Lilliput and knows for sure that it does or does not have the auto-on feature. If you say "no" then tell me how new your Lilliput is and I will take it as that.Originally Posted by Bugbyte

9 is old
10 is new.
The 10 pin connectors are newer

I have the newer (10 pin) version of the Lilliput and modding it was just as easy. I also replaced the blue leds to match my car's amber dashlight.Originally Posted by galpd320
