Well, I've been in the concept stage of my carputer design for quite a while, thinking and planning and designing. Seeing this thread (Mercedes-Benz SLK R170) got me thinking. A while back (I don't remember how long ago) there was a similar thread except that the guy in it cut a hole in the back of the case of his Xenarc to mount a manufactured connector instead of a homebuilt one. I don't remember much except that the connector had two rows of pins, and two of the pins on each row were larger (intended for higher current loads.) IIRC the creator also gave a part number or link for the connectors. I have been searching for well over 6 hours now and I cannot find the thread. Would anyone happen to have a link to the thread?
