Question connecting pc to portable dvd

I need some help hooking up my Inov8 portable TFT Colour DVD/VCD/MP3 Player to my computers video card. The video card is a SiS 5598/6326 with RCA video output. Is it meant to be as easy as connecting the two with RCA cable.
Any help would be great Thanx

    2 questions:
did you enable the RCA output on the vid card, and does the DVD player accept signal in, or just signal out?

my sister tried to do this till she found out the portable DVD player she had only has video out to hook it up to a television and not video in.
