DennisK vs. Xenarc

Someone really needs to put together a nice comparison of all the different display options. I volunteer myself if people would contribute enough info.

In the mean time, what are the disadvantages of the older Sharp LQ9D161 or "DennisK" LCD setup. Brightness is the same as a Xenarc 800TSV, physical resolution is the same. Usually you don't get 1 VGA and 2 Video inputs, but that would be do-able with just a different controller. All the posts on the "DennisK" setup are regarding wiring, and are very (some 2 years) old.

Any opinions? I'll compile it into the start of a LCD comparison chart.
