The controllers do cost a couple of hundred dollars, I personally would re-list on ebay or do a deal with the seller - but be aware you will probably get bad feedback and they may report you to ebay for non-compliance of contract.
I have just bid on what you seem to call a monitor for a DennisK setup, and I didn't read the finer print on the auction page.My own mistake, which is why I'm an idiot... Any ideas as to how to limit my loss? I'm not going to pay several hundred dollars (as seems to be the norm) for LCD and touchscreen controller, I can't afford that. Which is why I thought I was getting a great deal in the first place. Maybe the best way is to negotiate a deal with the seller, paying him some of the money for not sending me the thing? If I could get the controllers cheaper, I could probably survive financially, but it seems like they cost around 300 dollars from what I've seen here searching. Or haven't I found the correct posts?
Hope somebody can help me!

I know. But you say a couple of hundred. I have only seen them here to more than 300. Can you please tell me where to get them for less?

In the grand scheme, what is 1 negative feedback? He'll report you and that'll be that, just don't make a habit of it. You could always offer to pay his auction fee, that may get you out of it...

I'm starting to think that this guy is very sneaky, but I'm actually not sure. He may not be, I'm not a native english speaker, so perhaps some nuances have escaped me. His auction is very confusing. The shipping says $15 with large print, and then there's a lot with fine print. If the shipping isn't $15 internationally, I will not pay no matter what he says or does!
Edit: No, I don't think he's sneaky. It seems that the shipping wording is the same for all his auctions. So I guess I'm the fool here... I have sendt the seller a message asking to be removed, and offering to pay the auction fee plus an "idiot ticket". (We don't give people tickets in Norway just for being idiots, but this is a seller in the USA, and I think it's illegal there ... no, wait a minute! Not with this president, of course!) We'll see what he says.

Good stuff. I thought you had actually won it. In the future, you could always cancel your bid (as long as it's not within 12 hours of auction close)...

The thing is that it was. I thought I was getting a real bargain, and forgot the old saying "there's no such thing as a free lunch"... Close call indeed!
