auto-on mod is the same as auto-off.![]()
If you haven't done any mod to your screen and you don't turn it off yourself, then the screen is still on unless you cut the power to the screen.
even after the computer turns off?
i noticed the LCD stays green (though the screen is blank)
do i have to manually turn the LCD off?
i read about the auto-on mod... but what about auto off?

does it suck up a lot power with it still on and no signal going to the screen? It looks like the screen itself turns off, which leads me to believe that all that's powered is maybe the LED and a few other "behind" the scene things?

I use coyote's auto-power on hack and I am powering my screen directly from the computer's 12V rail.
