    it's pretty old and it uses a serial Touchscreen which probably needs to be plugged into the keyboard port aswell for the extra power.
    no it gets it power from the 12v the LCD uses

    The 10.4 datalux only works at 640x480 60hz - and the older ones
    only work with older video cards - they will "NOT" work with onboard
    video from the motherboard - you will have to use a older AGP or
    PCI video card - Most ATI Rage cards work so do 3DFX cards

    The upgraded ones work just fine with onboard video from the
    motherboard

    Mine works well with video and games - its a TFT screen

    You can convert the old 5V models to 3.3V.

    But I am not saying that I recommend the old Datalux.

    I do have one, but I use it on my HTPC in my bedroom. I display the UI on it, so that I can flip thru menus and such without covering up the TV's picture.

    ready to go!
