    Scratches on screen?

hey guys has anybody tried or had any sucess at removing deep scratches from there screens atall? i know theres products on ebay that are good for mobile phone screens etc like the displex products http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...184368478&rd=1
    or others like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...766969922&rd=1
but has any body used them on the lcd panel not the tx overlay, im thinking maybe tcut or something slighlty abrasive then carefully polishing the abrasion away with plolish

That kind of crap never seems to work...all of the brands have different touch overlays and some are pretty dark...I dont see how that polish would blend close at all...wouldnt it effect the sensitivity?...I dont know what to say

You d*ck head!!! be more careful! hehe

if its on the LCD glass then theose should be alright. But i am sure other palces have glass polish. I know of the stuff they use to polish Perspex aircraft canopies - that is very good but i am not sure what the screen material is.

that displex stuff doest work. It was better with the scratch than the big dull polishing marks it made on the screen. Save yourself some bother and just replace the touch pannel. it is pretty cheap and not that hard
