Have you guys tried using powerstrip to create a custom resolution?

It is a solid fact that the VIA mainboard built-in graphic cards do not support this resolution and many ppl have requested this tweak at VIA.
What I think is that even if VIA gets this 800x480 mode developed it will be likely that the monitor won't recognize it as it happens with other videocards that already do support this mode.
The issue infact is double:
1. Get the resolution on the graphic card drivers
2. Get the correct values for monitor parameters (porches, refresh rates, etc...)
Just my two cents, I've been asking in other forums also to find out if anybody knew the values for the second part of our problem, but no luck for now.

I've installed a Matrox Millenium PCI video card and with the modeline from Xenarc, the monitor detects 800x480 with no problems at all.
And does the Lilliput recognize it?
I will change my video card if you assure me it does. I got a Matrox too
I also got a Nvidia GF4Mx. If any of these works I'd be willing to change,

Don't have a Lilliput, so I couldn't tell you...
