Okay to Power Xenarc Through Shuttle?

I have a shuttle that is powered with the stock PSU through an inverter. Would it be okay to power my Xenarc through the carputer or would i be better off powering directly through my cd deck's ACC?

yeah through the shuttle PSU would be nice and regualted. Should avoid any spikes and stuff. use the yellow and adjacent black wire on a molex connector (get a Y if you dont have enough). It draws 1A max.

would anyone here be able to tell me why there is a buzzing noise coming from the shuttle? Even when it is powered off, i get a buzzing noise. The case is grounded (one wire screwed into the psu, the other into the case). The noise was reduced somewhat when i grounded it, but it is still significantly there. Could it cause problems with the Xenarc?
