Well I got my repaired screen back from newision about 2 weeks ago, they forgot to send me a new vga cable because seems they finally fixed the mini din connector issues they were having by changing the connector a little. I e-mailed em and had a new cable within a few days. So far everything seems to be working really well, the brightness is good, no jurassic park images , no ghosting, solid vga connection. overall I'm really happy with the rebuilt unit, seems like they are doing a real good job of fixing the issues the lilliputs had
