So can the old Lilli's be modded in anyway to make them work too?

I'm interested to know if anyone has gotten 800x480 working with the onboard Via drivers. Since that other thread had hacked BIOS and drivers and they seem to work with powerstrip it should be possible.
I almost got it working, I was losing the rightmost 30 or so pixels, couldn't get it any better than that.
I'd post the timings I used, but my HD died so I lost them

quite a few claim they have had a Lilli lock onto the holy grail. NOT calling anyone a lier but we are yet to see the proof...
Many people seem to have the EPIA M-(with hacked bios) & MII-(with extra bios hack) outputting 800x480 but still the lilli shows 800x484 or something, I've had my home system output a true 800x480@72Hz and my Fuji 17"CRT locked it no problem, Lilli still showed 848x484 or whatever . I wasn't overly impressed by either though, as 640x480 looked better on the Lilli (619GL replaced under warranty in May05, Old shape with I suspect a new controller board).

Forgot what I was on about now... Darned Skunk

we were just trying to establish whether or not the Lilli shows 800x480 or not. And please can ppl share their setups rather than just say it can be done...

I think the only way to do it is with powerstip however i am not a powerstrip pro so with the EPIA M 10000 you cant add custom resolutions. But there should be a way to change the refresh rate at least. Do any of you powersrtip pros have any tips for me?

I think the problem is different generation lilliputs behave differently so saying just lilliput doesn't mean that all other lilliputs behave the same

Here's my pic of lilli running an outputted 800x480 using settings from this thread. Lilli display shows 800x484 using frq's 71.4 & 35.5

I used the blinfing picture as a non destorted windows desktop background. There is evidence of pattern blending or whatever you call it. So even though the lilli is receiving 800x480 it doesn't seem to show it.

I did this setup using a CRT connected to mobo, and lilli on Nvidia GForce 2 MX 440 with twin desktops so I could trial run different frequencies without loosing the display (I can use CRT when lilli goes out of range...

    What now?
