Still looking for an answer on this.
I just got my 8" Lilliput touch screen the other day. I am unable to get the touch screen to work. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the Lilliput cable or possibly the entire unit.
When I plug the USB touch screen into my computer, nothing happens. Windows does not "dongle" at me or detect that I plugged anything in. I know the USB ports are fine because I am able to plug in other things (external HDD, gamepad, etc) and Windows detects and installs them immediately.
But when I plug in the Lilliput USB touch screen, nothing happens. I've tried plugging it in to three different computers with no luck. It's a brand new Lilliput that hasn't been disassembled. I've checked all the connections again and again and everything looks OK (no loose connections or bent pins).
If anyone has any suggestions that would help me, I would be very grateful. How would I go about getting a replacement cable or new unit? Has anyone else ran into this issue? And if so, how did you fix it? Thanks.![]()

I'd just send it back to where you bought it as a warranty replacement especially as you have tried it on three PCs. Have you checked whether anything has appeared in device manager at all?
You're quite unfortunate really as there aren't many 8" Lilliput Owners on here.
ThanksYea, I also checked the Device Manager and nothing new appears there.
I bought the screen straight from here, mp3car.com. On their web site it says if you have a defective product to email ziplock@mp3car.com. Well I did so a few days ago and haven't heard anything since.
Guess I'll email them again or call if comes down to it.
[EDIT: This is just an update for anyone else who has this issue. I returned the screen to mp3car and they sent me another one. This one works fine. So it looks like it was an issue with the screen itself.]
