Touchscreen controler Pin outs

Hello, I'm new here so I hope this is the right place for my question;

I build my newision 7" TS TFT into the sun visor screen, after I disconnected all the wire's from the mainboard and the touchscreen I was unable to put I correctly back

I got the TFT working but the TS controller does not work. can some one say if I wired it correctly? because most of the screens here have a 5 pins controller mine only has 4

Look at the 'everything you need to know about your xenarc' thread. i think someone wired a USB controller there to make it PC powered. They are all 4 wire i think.

I found this site already and it has a different type of TS controller it has 5 pins and the whole PCB is different

Hehe yes I'm lazy

any way all stuff I found where all the 5 pins type with a whole different PCB. If I plug in the usb cable windows says "new hardware found" witch looks good and then it instantly says "device not recognized" did try it on servile of computers saying all the same. Then I noticed the PC get extremely hot think this is not a good sign?

Yup, sounds like you have reconnected it wrong ... I think my touchscreen controller has four cables, but I can't check as it is integrated into the dash in the car and last time I removed the screen I had to resolder everything as the screen stopped working.
