those are nice looking inverters, hopefully all those blank pads are not for the dimming circuit![]()

I can now leave a serial port liked to the dimming control pic for tweaking of the programming. Or maybe even have PC controlled backlighting for certain apps - eg when the phone rings boost up the brightness or when i approach speed cameras boost my GPS screen.
nice, i'm getting close to finishing the dimming program for the microcontroller

That would make sense. I couldn't extract anything useful from it.Originally Posted by ming
they sell start from 10, I did not get it
but you can check the PDF file of OZI chip oz960s it has pwm dimming
well those are nice looking inverters, but I think they are too big for our application, if they actually took all the board away where they had blank pads it might be useable.

all the inverters we ar elooking at have pwm dimming. some nice enclosed autmotive ones would be nice. I am wondering about using a cast alloy box - should provide some shielding.
Wow! You must be really pressed for space.Originally Posted by jcdillin
Well there is not much room inside some of the screen enclosures so people with the fold out ones would not be able to benifit. also, I dont want a couple of big inveter boards in my dash. Room is tight as it is and i am having to be inventive with my HU.Originally Posted by eCar™
