Xenarc Touchscreen Tx Rx wiring help

I am new to this board and want to say hi to everyone

Anyhow, back on topic.

This girl is in need of some desperate help.

I have a Gain/Xenarc 7 touchscreen (serial) monitor.

Anyhow, my touchscreen is acting up. I need your help.

Based on the picture provided at the following url:

can you tell me which color cable is the SERIAL Tx and SERIAL Rx?

NOTE: My VGA connector on the PCB board is broken. I can't solder so I am thinking about hot wiring my serial cable directly to the touchscreen controller itself. Clever huh?

Anyone?

All I want to know is what wire is for the serial Tx and Rx for my touchscreen. I thought it was the brown and green wire but I guess I was wrong. i don't want to fry my board. All I know is that there are four wires that makes up the toushscreen cable.
One is for power, ground, Tx, and Rx. that is all I know. help if you can

why not just power up the monitor and find 5v and gnd going to the controller, the the other two will be TX and RX then if it doesnt work you can just swap them around
