so if you input the code, do you have to do the auto power on mod of the circuit board? or can u just set it with the code without doing that?

We are on the same boat. My LCD is about that "new" too . 619GL-70NP/T
I has try direct bunching in the code.
VGA mode reset then bunching in the code.
Bunching in the code then push MENU
VGA reset, Enter Code, Push Menu
all possible combination I could think of.

NADA, NOTHING coming up. WTF is it ?
Hardware mod is the only option for me I guest, but I just don't feel like doing it.

I've just tested it and it works fine on my screen:

It doesn't have a serial no. on the back. But it's a version with the 10-pin connector like Gore- has.

The sound in VGA mode works perfectly now aswell, thanks alot!

Worked fine on my old lilliput, but I only have 6 digits. So I did: 001 1 1 1

Anyone know if it's possible to do on a TM-700TS, http://www.digitalww.com/TM700TS.htm

Is it safe to assume that you scroll through the "-------"s to input the numbers since pressing a number key saves the setting? I am assuming that this will work with my screen. It looks just like the TM-810VGT from DigitalWW except the pedestal is different. Same buttons and connector though.

I can't try this right now because I am in Iraq but I am documenting notes, suggestions, and ideas. I'm up to a 23-page Word document with pics.

How many pins you have in your cable? 9 or 10?

It works! I don't think anyone has a monitor that is older than mine (2 yrs old with 9 pin connector) It so old even the serial number has rubbed off. I just played with it just as the above posts suggest. Never saw the "-------" line but did see the menu with "factory setting" header. I am not even sure what I did because there was no visual prompt but it now turns on and off automatically!
