    vga connector with resistor

    I need to connect a external monitor to my laptop for start them with the lcd close (bios haven't a by pass).
    I remember a post where a workaround is to connect a resistor to the vga output?

    can you help me?

    It's name is VGA dummy and you can find about it if you search with this name, HOWEVER I tried to make one I couldn't succeed so I use a VGA multiplier (same as you with laptop) which als creates the same resistance like any other monitor.
