Psone Lcd With Resolution Other Than 640x480i

im starting to build my carpc
and i got a little question
im using a micro intel mobo with an onboard vga card
the mobo doesnt got agp slots only pci
so i got a ati rage pci vga card

the onboard vga doesnt support c-sync and customized resolutions
but the rage does support c-sync but doesnt support customized resolutions

is it possible to run the psone lcd mod with other resolution than 640x480i?

if no anybody had success with a vga pci card? if yes please tell me which is it
ill maybe but a geforce 2 mx400 pci but i donno if it will work and i dont want to waste my money for nothing...

    thx in advance

    Post deleted due to incompetence.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

He's talking about the VGA mod Darque.

You can use lower resolutions like 640x288 and increase the clarity, as it will no longer be interlaced (at least you can on arcade monitors, which a PSOne screen works simular to). Higher resolutions would mean more interlacing and would look horrible. As far as recommended PCI cards, check the old PSOne screen posts, I think Matrox was the one most recommended.

Take a look at this thread for a TTL C-Sync circuit and build one for the onboard Video card (if you can't get a hold on the Matrox card).
Need picturesque PSOne LCD VGA modding diagram

Also take a look at StarFox site for more info.

the main problem is the reslolution thing ( both cards dont support custom resolutions )
    any way to treat this?

Without C-SYNC you can build one but without custom resolution you can't do anything.
Maybe you have to find a Matrox Card.
Some Nvidia card support custom resolution as well.
