I have bought all my carputer stuff (except pcs themselves) for 2 systems (powersupply all the way to xenarc monitors) from mp3car store.

Never had any problem.

Always great support.

But why is it that they banned GBs?

IIRC, he set up a group buy for a screen(?) and for 4 months or so he took people's money, and no one got a screen--or maybe a couple people did, but just enough to throw suspicious people off for a while.

Anyway, I wasnt directly involved with it, but eventually it came to a head and that lil jackass hacked into the MP3CAR customer database and spammed everyone that had ever bought from the store.

There were several earlier group buys with other people, and almost all of them had problems. This was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back.

buddy of mine bought a screen from electronicar (as did i), and his came cracked. He emailed the guy, who said to return it. couple months later, he emailed electronicar again for status, and he said he could not get the manufacturer to replace it, and that he was SOL. electronicar could ship it back for some outrageous price, and my buddy said f-it.

in other words, buy from mp3car (or any other actual store, not ebay)
