I just noticed that mp3car.com has a store... same price for very similar screen, i think i know where to buy now...but some input and advice on screens would be still apreciated... something that would fit a cutom trim for e46....
thx again
I'm looking for a good touch screen at a good price... i found a Lilliput 629GL-70NP, logicsupply.com/product_info.php/products_id/193 , is it any good and is this a good price?
If not what are the screens that work well and are at a resonable price range?
Any input would be greatly appreciated...

thx... next time i'llbefore i post ... sry
I have just got my new sceen (629GL) and compared to the old (1st generation) Xenarc, it is quite good. I am very happy with it. If I had to choose between my old screen and the new one, I would probably take the new one. I know the new Xenarcs are brighter then the old ones, but for the extra money it would be a close call. I think I would still choose the new (629GL) Lilliput
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story
anyone manage to get the auto power on working?

Are you referring to this procedure:
- Connect the monitor to a PC, boot the PC and power the monitor on so there is an image on the screen
- With your remote control slowly push 588998. This will bring up the hidden options menu.
- On your remote push the menu button 2 times. The first line will say "Car Power State" and is set to 0 (power button must be pushed to power on) by default.
- On your remote control push the down arrow button 1 time to highlight "Car Power State" and then press the right arrow button 2 times to change the "Car Power State" from 0 to 2 (automatically power on)
- With the remote control push the Menu button 1 time to exit the hidden options menu and you are finished. The next time you apply power to the monitor it will automatically turn on.
csfile.
