    help me with my fuse

    i was able to get the fuse off my lilliput, but im having a hard time gettin the new one on...every time i remove the iron from the solder it immediatly hardens so i can place the fuse down in time...i tried adding extra solder but it doesnt make a good connection by just goin around the sides so i donty know what to do...any help?

    what you need to do is clean the excess solder from the pads, then lay the fuse onto the pads. Place the tip of your soldering iron onto the pad, hold it there for a sec. You should see the solder melt and bond the pad to the fuse. If they dont bond, then add a very small amount of solder. Then let the first side cool for a sec then repeat for the 2nd side.

    should i use a sesoldering braid?

    no because it will take too much solder off of the pads, if you wipe the tip of the soldering iron with a damp towel and touch the pad, that should take enough off to work.
