You'll likely find that it's cheaper & easier to simply use a pre-made LCD screen with a VGA input.
I'm not saying it can't be done, just that it's wholly impractical.
I am looking into getting a laptop screen and custom fitting it in a housing as a secondary monitor for my carputer. Question is, how the heck do I hook it up? My friend said they use an LBDS cable or something like this. Is it possible to get some kind of adapter that would make it plug in VGA? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Tim
