For those wondering 'when it will become available'

I ordered mine from the Mp3Car store on June 8th (it was only $500 then instead of $550 ). I received a UPS tracking number today... so apparently they have started to ship.

I'll be posting my thoughts and feelings as soon as I get it hooked up in my worklog

I also have the screen in my hands - agreed regarding the manual being useless.

Can you feed a wire from the reverse light to the 'Reverse' feed from the screen to toggle the reverse signal on/off? I'm also wondering what else it could be referring to...

On the back you find the following wires:

    GND
    12+
    Accon
    Park
    Reverse
    Remote

I wonder what the reverse and park do.

There are also AV1, AV2 and a reverse video input available.
I got mine today. I get the ground, park, 12+, reverse, but remote and accon??? what are they???

remote is to give other hardware a 12v signal, I guess.

the accon is important because this is to turn on the screen. Connect it to the ignition o to your psu (12v). When the accon receives a 12v signal the screen will start.

hey ya, i wonder if someone have the manual online? because i bought it from someone without a manual, and i spent almost 4 hrs now trying to hook this thing up and it did not go

I searched throughout the forum and this is the closest post I can get to help me, so tell me if i'm wrong:

-The fuse should be 2A rating
-YELLOW should be connected to battery (through fuse)
-RED should be the ignition, giving 12V to power and 0V to shut it down
-GREEN I know I should put it to 0V, the guy said that this wire operates on 0V, where to connect?????
    -BLACK - car's metal

okay, correct me people I need help

Connect it the same place as the black one. You can say that the car's metal is 0V. If green wire isn't connected to 0V, the screen won't open.

can anyone else confirm that it re-opens for you?
