I'm curious if anyone has installed an LCD into the DIN/ Radio-storage area of their Civc Coupe?
Apprx Dim:
Height: 4 3/4 in.
Btm Width: 8 in.
Top Width 8 1/2 in.
The dash looks like this:
I'd prefer to have an always available touch-screen LCD/TFT whatever there and the mac / pc slot most likely below that where the AC plug is now. (not visible in this shot)
In addition, what have people noticed/experienced to be the best touch screen unit for a MAC? I know lilliput is highly spoken of for PC.
I'd like to get the largest screen in this slot (no mod to the whole size), which looks like it may be only up to 8 in.

I'm working on how to do it: I'm trying (without much success) to design a folding enclosure to fit it in the lower slot and fold down. At the moment I only have a slimline DVD drive mounted in there.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .
Have: M1-ATX, EPIA M10000, 256MB, 60GB 2.5", slim slot load DVD
Need: Time, HU integration, ideas for Lilli
I just found this thread shortly after I posted.
Anyone have ideas on mounting Lilliput in Honda?
Looks like the 2005 Civic bezel works in the same slot with an LCD fitting.
I'm looking for someone (other than Honda) that actually sells the trim piece.
What makes xenarcs better, and do they work with macs (touch-screen)?
No real sense in having a real keyboard in a car. Although I must say, I really enjoy using my virtual keyboard!Laser drawn keys, no physical board. You can just display it on your window or dash, and your good.
No copy can ever say he saw you typing on a keyboard, when there is no physical evidence.
