    Question Character LCD conection to LPT

    Hi All,

    I just started collecting parts for carmp3player. So, i want to buy Char LCD display.
    Questions: is LCD goes with somekind special controler which connecting to LPT/COM?
    Or LCD directly conectin to LPT?

    Where i could find that information to read?

    Char LCD display goes directly to the serial or parallel port.

    Do a search on this forum for information on lcd's, there's plenty !!!
