    Question Xenarc and extreme tempatures

    Hello,

Im new to the forums and I gotta say, you guys rock!! I finally have a resource for my computer and car addictions. Anyway Im building a carPC and was looking into the Xenarc 7" touch screen. I live in Michigan and we see everything from 95 degress to 10 below in the winter. Im more worried about the cold than the heat. Im wondering if anyone has exposed the Xenarc unit to these extremes and if so the performance or lack there of under these conditions. Thanks for any help/reviews.

Hey how did you wire up you 2x 40mm fans in you LCD Screen?
I just got one of those HD coolers and put the fans in the back of the screen (they are screw to the screen bracket) and then I just use the acc line to get power.

    Ok .... cheeckz185??

Any other question please use the threads...

    Thanks.

I just installed my xenarc last week and am dealing with the hot temperatures here in Boston. What I've experienced is that the screen will not work at hot temperatures, either fails to display any image or displayes a garbaged one if any. Once the screen has cooled down via air conditioning, being put in the fridge, or whatever, it returns to normal operation.

I'm sure heating it and cooling it isn't good for it, but I haven't found a good alternative yet.
