    Post How do you change the ratio in WinXP from 4:3 to 16:9???

    Does anyone know how to change the ratio in WinXP from 4:3 (LetterBox) to 16:9 (Widescreen)???

    with regedit to make the resolution whatever you want, then reboot. In the article i read they changed the res to 848x480 so you can probably make it whatever you want.     found this in another post, I guess you could try and manupulate it to be wide screen...but other then that I dont think you can.
