    Xenarc 700tsv

    I just opened up my xenarc 700tsv. I want to get rid of my buttons so i can fit my slimline rite under my screen. I need to remove those buttons but they are attached to the circuit board. How do i remove them??? Someone said desolder them but i need the circuit board to be removed also.....

    you cant cut the board. your only option is to tilt/move the circuit board to take up less height. YOu may need to get a longer ribbon to do it if you have th very short one.

    just lop the circuit board off right above the buttons, and when your screen stops working just send me all the parts

    Every post on this thread has said you cant cut the circuit board - why do you keep thinking you can? can you cut your motherboard in half and expect it to work? no!

    Oh my bad, i read that can instead of cant. SO how is tilting going to do me any good lol. I need to put a slim line cdrom where the buttons are!
